Really fun Mediterranean redesign for a really great client in East Sussex. The client wanted to create floral and botanical interest whilst still being able to host parties on the existing patio. Creating beds into the patio itself softens the stonework and then surrounds the mighty Olive so it frames the majesty.
This modern design is used primarily as an entertaining space for the customer and therefore wanted to keep predominant space to have the planting but also the use of removed slabs as mid beds throughout the patio keeps it practical whilst adding texture and colour
The astroturf being replaced by the planted stone allows for the same practical positives of the no-mow astroturfing but has far more interest and shows off the Mediterranean style planting which will surround the pizza oven for more partying in the future!
